Bridges

Occasionally, a dental bridge may the best option for replacing one or more missing teeth. Dr. Almasri has the expertise to create a bridge that looks natural and functions comfortably.

Dental bridges are permanent restorations that can be used in the front or the rear of the mouth. They can be fabricated from a variety of materials, including full porcelain, porcelain fused to gold, or full gold. Dr. Almasri will work together with you to select the most appropriate material for your particular needs.

Similar to the crown procedure, the bridge process is very simple. Typically consisting of just two dental visits, you can expect to receive your completed bridge in approximately three weeks. During the first appointment, the teeth that will support your new bridge will be prepared. If necessary, existing restorations and decay are removed, a temporary bridge is placed, and the impression for the permanent bridge is taken.

Dr. Almasri will ensure that your bridge is made to match your other teeth in size, shape and color. When your bridge is completed and ready to be cemented, your second appointment will consist of removing the temporary bridge and placing the permanent restoration. Finally, Dr. Almasri will evaluate your bite to ensure proper fit.

A dental bridge can be used to restore your occlusion as well as enhance your smile. If you are ready to replace your missing teeth, call us for an appointment with Dr. Almasri for a complete examination and to discuss all of your treatment options.
